The Governor’s Prevention Partnership builds statewide capacity to prevent underage drinking and substance use and builds strategic alliances to promote the overall well-being of Connecticut’s future workforce.

Becoming a mentor is your chance to help a young person realize they’re not alone, that they’re capable of more than they know, and in doing so, you might just discover you’re capable of more, too.

We are proud to partner with Deterra to distribute tens of thousands of drug deactivation pouches to Connecticut families. Help eliminate a potential risk at the source, and learn how to have conversations about substance misuse prevention.

We offer no-cost technical assistance for mentoring programs. Learn how you can receive up to 30 hours of free training.
