ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Future Prevention Leaders Youth Conference is a dynamic and engaging one-day event that focuses on substance use prevention and promotes overall well-being among high school-aged future leaders from across Connecticut. This conference offers a unique platform for personal growth, skill-building, and community-building in the field of substance use prevention.

The Future Prevention Leaders Youth Conference aims to:

Empower Youth: Future Prevention Leaders cultivate and amplify the voices of young leaders, recognizing their potential to effect positive change in substance use prevention efforts within their communities.
Inspire Action: The Conference provides inspiration and motivation for attendees to take an active role in substance use prevention, becoming advocates for healthier communities.
Foster Connections: FPL creates a supportive network of peers and mentors in the field of substance use prevention, encouraging collaboration and the sharing of ideas and best practices.
Promote Education: We offer dynamic and interactive workshops that provide practical knowledge, skills, and resources to empower attendees in their substance use prevention efforts.
